Working with SlideDeck instead of existing homepage slider

   One of the major problems we have is the fact your Slider on the homepage only accepts open Vimeo and Youtube video. It does not work with Vimeo Pro (commercial). Also, I am not aware of a solution to play video hosted on Amazon S3 using your Slider.

   Do you have any suggestion for these issues?

   Meanwhile we acquired a license of SlideDeck which may solve it, however I would like to know what do I have to do to disable the homepage slide substituting it by SlideDeck. Could you please inform us of the different steps to make a smooth transition?

   Alrighty, it looks like it uses shortcodes like so,

   [SlideDeck id='13' width='100%' height='300px']

   Which is a good thing. If you want it to display in your slider area all you have to do is create a "Full + Raw HTML" slide and insert the shortcode into the slide description. You still have to upload an image but you can use a 1x1 transparent png so it's not displayed.
