When viewing my site http://www.jstylefilms.com in IE I notice there is a very small smiley face in the lower left corner and causes there to be about a 10 pixel space of padding between the footer and the bottom of the browser...how do I remove this? Why is it there?

I'm in IE 9...it doesn't seem to show up anywhere else.

  2. I think it has to do with wpstats or some kind of link tracker.

    Hi,

That's being added by a "wpstats" plugin.

So, I would recommend you to change to another statistics plugin.
