White frame around slide selectors

  1. I moved the "images", "js" and "styles" folder to a new location in my site. Their new location is:

    Root
    - Content
    - themes
    - InFocus
    - images
    - js
    - styles

    When I render the pages, everything is working fine but on the home feature, the little buttons that are used to select the slide have thin frames around them as if margin or padding is set to 1 pixel in the CSS file. (See the attached image)

    Prior to moving these folders into their new location, everything was perfect. Any idea what may be causing this behavior?

    Thanks,

    Sam

  4. Hi imsam,
    those borders are generated by the browser when it cannot find an image.

    The slider bullets are IMG elements that point to an image called transparent.png.

    The images should be located in images/transparent.png, re-upload it to that location and hopefully it will work.

  5. I thought about that myself and checked the CSS file and made sure the image was there before I contacted you.

    If you type the URL for the image, you'll see that your browser will find it: However, the frames are still there. Here's the URL for the image:
    http://ingrid.iquestllc.com/content/themes/infocus/images/transparent.png

    I even thought about possibly the reference being literal in the CSS but that doesn't seem to be the case either.

  6. Hi ismam,
    well, actually, the browser is looking for that image under http://ingrid.iquestllc.com/images/transparent.png due to the relative path.
    What you can do is change the path to the images.

    I don't have the html version of inFocus available here, but I think that changing line 411 in js/custom.js from this:
    jQuery('<img style="margin-right:4px;" src="images/transparent.png" alt="" width="14" height="14" class="slider_preview_img" />').each(function() {
    to this:
    jQuery('<img style="margin-right:4px;" src="content/themes/infocus/images/transparent.png" alt="" width="14" height="14" class="slider_preview_img" />').each(function() {

    Let us know if this worked for you.

  7. Raspo,

    You nailed it!!! Thank you very much for your help.

    Sam

    P.S. You sure know your files. Even the line number was correct. Line 411! Changed the path and worked like a charm! Thanks again.
