Use Portfolio or Blog ?

   Hello, I'm a photographer not a webdesigner. Everything is working great with the great support I have here. Thank you ! Unfortunately, I'm still a bit confused about the best way to show my photos.

   I need to show them in a grid like I already did via the portfolio section here:
   http://www.vr360.com.br/portfolio/tourvirtual/

   But I need to separate it in categories too, like Art, Real Estate, Nature, etc.
   Did I need to create a portfolio page for each categorie and tick it in the right side menu ?

   I would like to leave social buttons like the sharethis or similar one in each photo, and if possible a space for comments too. Like it works in a blog. But I've already a blog in my site, is it possible to make multiple blogs ?

   Hi,

   You can create a specific posts category where you will add your photos. Make sure to exclude this category from your blog pages, indicating so in the "Blog->Exclude Categories" field of the theme options panel.

   Then, create a page where you will display the posts from this specific category, and add a blog shortcode to it. You can see the whole range of options that this shortcode provides here: http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Blog_Shortcode
