    Hello keikoleehem,

That does not look like Fusion. Are you sure it's not some other theme you have activated?

Are you sure you have downloaded the update from our site?

Hi Elliott - you're right, it's quite clearly not the Fusion I bought/you sell. That's what's weird. See attachment for what I see in my updates panel. Looks like it's from you. When I clicked it and allowed the update, the results looked like my first attachment. Someone's messing with us. Luckily I was able to reinstall a backup of my website so all is back to normal, but I am now VERY suspicious of any update notifications. Have you seen this before? Does MSMW usually alert customers of updates through the updates panel? How do i know if it's from you or from someone with bad intentions? Thank you.

Perhaps our theme name is the same as one in the Wordpress repo and it's confusing each other.

I went ahead and flagged this for our devs to take a look.

Hi, I had the same problem. Wordpress says an update is required. See screenshot. Elliot can you confirm that you did not publish an update?

@keikoleehem you can easily fix this by re-uploading the orginal fusion theme directly in your ftp-client. You can find a clean version of the theme in the my downloads section. After uploading the theme, activate it in WP admin and your site should be back to normal again.

Addition: what happens is that after the update, the theme is broken and it reverts to a standard theme.

Ah I see that TS fixed her problem already. Never mind.
@Elliot: on another note, is there any specific reasons you are not releasing updates to the various themes anymore (assuming this update was not released by you)? Support is always excellent here but without updates things will inevitably go wrong one of these days.

  8. I just had an identical experience! I updated my WordPress to Version 4.1.1 and I got the same results.

When I saw that update note, I found it strange (jump from 2.3 to 3.1) so I verify the MSMW blog and saw that it was a confusion with another theme... Many people wont have that reflex and will make the mistake to click on that update link... They will have to reupload manually the original Fusion theme.

@Framl, thank you for the tip! I hired someone to help me sort it out, but not an expense I want to incur on a regular basis. I look forward to hearing MSMW's response to all of this and confirmation that the issues has been fixed. Thanks everyone!
