Update to v2.8

   Getting ready to update the InFocus theme after updating WP to v3.31. And after reading the directions to update, there's a part that's leaving me confused......

   [blockquote]"Next you need to extract the zip file of the theme you just downloaded and upload the theme folder into /wp-content/themes/ in your server via FTP.

   This will overwrite your old theme files and you should be using the latest version now."[/blockquote]

   I must have doubled up on my idiot pills again because if we 'overwrite' old theme files, won't we essentially be starting over from square one with all the customizations we may have made being gone.(??)

   Hi SassKwatch,

   If you have made changes to the core files of your old inFocus theme you're correct that you would loose any changes if you overwrote the files.

   inFocus 2.8 is a major upgrade from inFocus 1.X and if you've made changes to the core files it probably would be better if your made the update on a development site and then moved it to your live site after you've applied your changes.
