Visit http://beta.virginiastrings.com to see black body text color. With CSS changes, I can't make text white because <font color="black">...</font> is injected into every div within div id="body_block"

What JavaScript, etc. is causing this? I tried disabling cufon - doesn't fix it, any suggestions?

Your prompt reply is much appreciated.

    Hello gizlj,

You have a bunch of <font> declarations strewn about your HTML. It seems kind of weird they would appear in those locations and that many instances, did you add those manually in the template files? It could very well be a javascript inserting them. Let us know of any customizations that you have done.

Thanks for your prompt reply. A fresh install of the theme results in the same font tags strewn about the HTML. It's obviously not something I did. I may not have the latest version of your theme. Please check your latest version for this problem.

    Hi,

This theme does not include those <font> tags.

Could you please try disabling all your plugins? To check if there's any causing trouble.

Plugin disabling had no effect, there's only Akismet and backup. I think the database got corrupted somehow so will have to try re-install from scratch and basically backtrack. Any ideas why this happened? Before I did anything serious to the theme it seems to have had the problem. Just realized the same problem is on our old site, which didn't have any developer work done: http://virginiastrings.com

    Hi,

When you create the content, make sure that Wordpress visual editor is not adding these font tags.

Are you adjusting the color of the text using the visual editor? If you edit your pages in the HTML editor, and delete the <font> tags, do they appear again when you save and test the page?

I'm way past that kind of thing. I only use the HTML editor. You'll see the font tags appear outside the content div. The visual editor would only change things within the content div. The font tag somehow appears within the stage div as well. It's got to be some script injecting the tags. Did a re-install of WP 3.1.1 and your latest theme. Results in no problems yet. I plan to start over.

    Hi,

If there's no active plugin, I am afraid I am a bit lost in this issue.

If you are planning to start again, please do not delete the current website. You might need it later.
