    Hello,

I guess the owner of TimThumb is done supporting it. So what's next with MySiteMyWay Themes, will you guys start removing TimThumb from the themes.

  4. What about the latest plans to drop timthumb?

What could/will go wrong if I change "Type of Image Resizing" to 'Built in WordPress' on an online site ?

It would stop using timthumb is all. Your images may look a bit distorted depending on their ratio that you uploaded them as.

    Hi
I've got Infocus v 3.7 on site (and a child infocus) with up to date plugins and wp. Since updating it seems that I had a large spike in 404s. Screenshot attached to show error messages. Is this to do with timthumb? Should this now be replaced with the Built in Wordpress option on Infocus area on dashboard?
If so, will there be an Infocus update that no longer has it in or do I delete it from somewhere in the theme?

Also is there something to subscribe to so that I can find out when things like this happen (re timthumb no longer being supported or to see any notifications about things that effect this theme?)

Those look kind of old. If your still getting 404 regularly then let us know and we'll take a look.

    1. Will Timthumb be be deleted from future versions of Infocus theme files?

    2. Should I delete it from Infocus/lib/scripts/ and is that the only place to delete it from?

    3. Is this related to any of those other error messages, mostly all the rest are like wp-includes/js/tinymce/...some type of spam word.

    Thanks

All you need to do is switch to Wordpress resizing in Dashboard > your theme > Image Resizing if you do not want to use it.
