I'm trying to upgrade my DejaVu from 2.7 to 2.8, but keep getting this error message:

"The AWS Access Key Id you provided does not exist in our records."

    What's up with that?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but no one from MSMW staff have responded to this forum or email contacts for over 8 months. I'm just another MSMW client lending a helping hand :-).

Someone else is having a similar problem. See http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/cant-download-any-theme

I scanned the DejaVu theme files and found no reference to aws. Which file do you have that includes a reference to aws?

The other person's problem involves an XML file which I would guess is related to the MSMW sample data that some website developers / designers use to pre-populate the MSMW theme. Clean out the sample data if that is the case. The theme itself does not reference AWS.

Thanks, OnePressTech. Here's the entire error message:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

As I said previously...there are no references to AWS and no XML files in the MSMW theme. My guess is that the person who created your website (you? someone else?) installed the MSMW starter content (see http://mysitemyway.com/docs/Dejavu_XML_Starter_Content ). So you have some default junk left around in your website from the day it was created. You never noticed because the AWS account it referred to was active. With MSMW company MIA for the last year it is not surprising that their referenced AWS account is no longer active. Thus the error. Get rid of the starter content and your problem should go away. If this does not solve your problem...then the question is...where did this xml file come from!
