Testimonial Submission

  1. I was looking through for different ways to allow my users to submit testimonials on their own, and then have it wait for my approval before going live.

So far it seems like the only ways to do so that works with your testimonial addition is to either make the user a Contributor. That allows them to submit a testimonial from the Dashboard. However it also allows them to see the Portfolio, and submit regular posts as well.
Or you can set up a contact form that sends you their testimonial as an email, and then you'd have to make it into a testimonial yourself.

So if there was a way to display a submission form that would tie right into the Testimonials and wait for approval, that'd be great. Kind of like how comments work, require them to be logged in, autofills the author information, and passes along the testimonial to a list in the ACP waiting for approval.

    Thanks.
    C.

  2. I found this, which would be a way to accomplish it. But if there was a way to do this using your built in forms, that'd be awesome.
