Hello,
I like the Awake theme, but I am suppressed there is zero information about advertising and how to put it. I am surprised there are no short codes to support standard sized web ads.
How do I add an image with link to another page, more I need images to appear in a sidebar and not one below each other but one next to each other horizontally?
When I use shortcuts for the images they start a small window with preview, I do NOT need that., I need link to another URL.
Please, give me an easy way to connect images with external pages.
Thanks

Hello nuinu,
Set some text widgets inside your sidebar and you can insert some ads like so,
[image_frame link_to = "false" prettyphoto = "false" width = "125" height = "125"]http://www.yoursite.com/ad1.jpg[/image_frame] [image_frame link_to = "false" prettyphoto = "false" width = "125" height = "125"]http://www.yoursite.com/ad2.jpg[/image_frame] [image_frame link_to = "false" prettyphoto = "false" width = "125" height = "125"]http://www.yoursite.com/ad3.jpg[/image_frame]If they do not flow from left to right then you can also use our column shortcodes,
[one_half] insert your ad [/one_half] [one_half_last] insert your ad [/one_half_last]Posted 8 months ago # -
In case anyone else was wondering like I was. If you want to insert images and links in a sidebar, but you don't want your images to have any styling. Such as the case with affiliate linking and web advertisements. Insert them directly using a text widget and use this code:
[one_half] [/one_half] [one_half_last] [/one_half_last]Posted 7 months ago #
