   Grant 777 permissions to the following file and folder, and let us know if this fixed your issue.

   awake\lib\scripts\thumb.php
   awake\lib\scripts\cache\

   I NEED HELP.
   i have tried everything i can think of.

   i can not get my slider to work. I am using awake theme from themeforest.
   I have uploaded pics into wordpress media and put url into slider section. but nothing happens!! slider on my site just continues to "load" but nothing happens!

   WHAT AM I DOING WRONG????

   Hi there
   I am having the same issue.
   I have the following; Wordpress 3.2.1 and Awake 2.3.
   My Home page slider has also just disappeared. I have changed the permissions to 777 but still no luck.
   The site is http://www.profmark.co.za
   Any other suggestions?

   Your getting a few javascript errors,

   $ is not a function
   [Break On This Error] $('.accordionButton').click(function() {

   Try deactivating your simple accordian plugin to see if this fixes it. If your interested we have our own accordians that you can use, http://themes.mysitemyway.com/elegance/shortcodes/jquery-toggle-shortcodes/.

   I finally transferred my site over to root and my slider isn't no longer working. I am getting 4 javascript errors:

   jQuery(".blog_layout1").preloader is not a function

   jQuery("#search_tooltip_trigger").cluetip is not a function

   jQuery("img.reflect").reflect is not a function
   wp-content/themes/awake/lib/scripts/custom.js?ver=2.3

   jQuery("#fading_slides").preloader is not a function

   I've tried deactivating most of my plugins, but still no luck.

    Hello locality,

    Your site is loading jQuery 1.4.2 for some reason. Which version of Wordpress are you using? Try updating to see if this fixes it.

    Also be sure to deactivate every plugin while testing.

    Thanks, Elliott. I got it back up and running. It must have been a combination of needing a WP upgrade and a plugin, but I have reactivated all of the really important plugins and it's still working, so that's perfect.

    I have this same problem. Just purchased and downloaded Myriad and the slider just spins and spins and never loads.
