    Site URL: (don't have a specific one live for this problem, but i can if you need)
    Problem Location: Homepage Slider
    Theme: Echelon
    Browser: Chrome (but also cross checking with Firefox & IE9)
    OS: Windows 7

    I am using staged layout for the problem in question. I would like for my visitors to be able to click on the banners and go to the link I have set for them in "Link URL" without having to use the read more button. I know I can used partial staged and write a description and use the read more button, which looks fine. but i would also like to be able to use the regular staged layout and have the banner clickable to go to a link i have set for it.

    Let me know if you need anymore clarification to my problem. Thanks!

    Hello heartattack247,

    I'm not sure what you mean by banners. Send us a link and we'll take a look.

    Sorry, I meant to say "slider", not "banner".

    Anyways, i went ahead and recreated the problem on a site currently under construction.

    Just try to click the sliders. They tell you what page they should go to, but they don't work. And then the third slider I put the "Read More" button on, which works. But I want to be able to have people click the slider (without a read more button) and have it take them to a page, if I gave it a "Link URL" in the slideshow options.

    I hope that clears up the confusion.

    Add this in Dashboard -> your theme -> General Settings -> Custom CSS,

    .slide_overlay { display: none !important; }

    That code did the opposite of what I'm trying to do. That code takes away the ability to click on the slider at all. I want to be able to click on a slider and go the the link that is in the "Link URL" under Echelon's "Slideshow" options.

    It's working fine on my end. The problem is that the slide overlay is displaying on top of your link so you cannot click it.

    Leave the code in so we can see what it's doing on your site.

    I put the code you suggested into a different site and it works great. Not sure what the problem was, but it works fine on http://sonshinebaptist.com

    Thanks!
