Skin not loading correctly

    Hi,

My site has been live for the past couple of weeks w/ no issues. As of today, I noticed that skin(s) don't appear to be loading properly. The colors look flat w/ out gradient or hightlights (please see "good" and bad" screen caps attached). I've tried switching skins and it is reacting the same way. In addition, the images are not beginning their loading w/ the spinning circle, but rather a "broken" image link (they do load).

Another strange thing is that I have one browser session that appears to load the skin properly. Same version of Chrome on another computer does load it properly. I've tried many computer/browser combinations w/ clearing cache, etc.

Any ideas on how to resolve this strange behavior? Thanks in advance!

Should have mentioned this is happening in IE as well.

It looks the same in all browsers on my end. Try updating your browsers to their latest versions and clear their cache.

    Update...

I added a .htaccess file to the images directory a few days ago due to the fact that directory browsing was showing up in Google results. That appears to have caused the problem. I removed the .htaccess file from the images directory and the site is loading properly now.

Do you have a quick suggestion on how I can "turn off" directory browsing from ../images on down? I tried a .htaccess file w/ permalink rewrite at the site root and that caused some issues, hence me turning to a simple .htaccess file at the images directory level.

    I'm a .NET/IIS guy by trade... apologies...

Your hosting provider would be able to help you there.
