Hi,
I have an older version of inFocus, but the website up is 100% customized, so I can't upgrade my inFocus to get the fix. Can you tell me which files need to to be fixed in order to include custom sidebars? Thanks.

Hello tradetec,
What exactely do you mean by custom sidebars? I'm pretty confused. Could you show us an example?
Best Regards,

I mean you have the option to have a different sidebar in each page edit, but when I select the sidebar I want to use on a specific page, it doesn't save it. I saw this thread already in your support forum, but your reply was to update inFocus. I can't because I've completely customized most of the style & layout coding. I was wondering if you have specific files that I need to replace in order for it to work.

Hey tradetec,
I checked the changelog but I could not figure out when this was added or if it was a default feature from the beginning. Which version of inFocus are you using?
I think the specific file you are wanting is sidebar-generator.php but you will also need to update some other files also. Try creating a backup of your theme folder and then download a fresh version of inFocus and copy and paste these items over, (if you have not customized them).
/infocus/lib/admin/
/infocus/lib/classes/
/infocus/functions.phpAnd then check to see if the custom sidebars work, if you are still having problems then copy and paste this also..
/infocus/lib/scripts/If something went wrong then go ahead and revert to your backup folder.
