Side Bar Spacing

    Is there an easy way to adjust the spacing on the side bar without digging into the css. I'm not sure if it's a line height issue or padding issue ext.

    You'll have the tittle then a big space before the div line and then a big space to the actual content. How do I clean that up and make everything tighter?

    Also is there a way to make those lines darker, they are hardly visible? thanks.

    Hello,

    Regarding the spacing issue. In the live preview of the theme, that problem does not seem to occur. Take a look: http://themes.mysitemyway.com/method/blog/

    Could you please provide us a link to your website? So we can see the issue in your installation of the theme.

    About the line, you have to edit the image in charge of displaying it using Photoshop or a similar software. This is the image: http://themes.mysitemyway.com/method/wp-content/themes/method/images/line.png

    Modify it and upload it to your server, replacing the original version.

    Hey Ruderic, thanks for your reply.

    Here are some images to help better understand. One image is from your demo blog, and the other from one of my sidebars. You'll notice the spacing is the same on both.

    Hi,

    Go to the theme options panel, and paste this CSS tweak in the "Custom CSS" field:

    .widgettitle {
      padding-bottom: 10px;
    }

    Roderic,

    Per Your PM, I'm posting this follow up question here.

    I'd like to also change the spacing on some of the other areas of the blog. As I stated in the PM, I would like to be pointed in the right direction to make those changes or given codes to copy and past in to the custom css area.

    Hello,

    This CSS tweaks will accomplish what you are looking for:

    .widgettitle {
      padding-bottom: 10px;
    }
    .share_this_module {
      margin-top: 20px;
    }
    .single_post_module {
      padding-bottom: 20px;
    }

    Unfortunately, it didn't do a thing. I even removed the other item listed in the custom css and just used what you provided and still nothing. I've changed all your numbers to zero and still nothing.

    Hello,

    Please provide me a link to your website so I can check what's wrong with it. I already tried the CSS code that I gave you, so I know it works OK.

    By the way, have you cleared your browser cache before testing the changes?

    Yes, I did clear everything and actually had my laptop going too and used it to test as well. As far as the link to the website, I will pm it to you. Thanks.
