Shortcode shows up on live version of Portfolio page?

    Hi. Recently the short code has become visible to site visitors at the top of my portfolio page?

    For example, it looks like this above the gallery view:

    [portfolio cat=11 style=gallery max=9]

    How can I remove this? I made sure I followed the documentation, and it appears to be set up correctly...

    Hi zohf,
    that shortcode is necessary for the portfolio page to work properly.

    If you remove it from the page, the gallery won't appear anymore.

    Can you please try disabling the plugin you have installed on your site? Because it seems like an incompatibility issue.

    EDIT
    Make sure to write that shortcode only once in the portfolio page.
    I've tested it on my local machine and the second shortcode shows up when I write two of them.

    Hi. Oddly enough, it worked fine before, and for some time.

    I recently was browsing my site, and noticed the shortcode?!?!

    Maybe I should update my version of wordpress.

    Which plugin would I disable? I used the shortcode as described in the inFocus documentation...

    It is only written once BTW.

    Hi zohf,
    you should try disabling all the plugins and see if changes the situation.

    Also, a link to the page would be useful.

    I will try that. I upgraded to the latest version of WP, didn't fix it.

    If disabling the plugins doesn't help, PM me the login information for your dashboard and I'll take a look.

    BTW, did you make any changes to the theme?

    Fixed. Thanks for your help Raspo. It was a plugin that was causing the dispute.
