It appears that the search completely ignores Portfolio and Page content. This caveat is also present on your demo site. To me, this seems far from ideal. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Hello strifonov,
Try this, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Enable_Page_Searching.
Thanks. That does work. However, the search results do not appear to have titles for the most part, and are thus inaccessible.
For example: http://steamspa.com/?s=generator
For fusion the read more is set on the image. Does it show up fine if you set a featured image for the page? http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Page_Options#Featured_Image
You could also try adding a permalink on line 35 in /wp-content/themes/fusion/loop.php,
<a href = '<?php the_permalink(); ?>'>Read More</a>
Will give it a try and report back. Thanks for the prompt response.
I followed the directions by strifonov and received the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/tricelco/public_html/wp-content/themes/awake/framework.php on line 871
