    Hi, thanks for the continued support of the mysitemyway team, you guys are top notch.

    I've been using the Galleria shortcode throughout my site, including in blog posts, and it appears to be breaking my site's RSS feed. Visiting the feed url gives me the following error:

    error on line 51 at column 12: Opening and ending tag mismatch: encoded line 0 and script

    Here is a link to the feed: http://goo.gl/xj8Nl

    Any assistance you can provide to determine a solution to this issue is very much appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello haddock,

    You said your using a plugin? Try deactivating them all to see what happens. We also include the galleria script with our framework so if your using a galleria plugin then they could be conflicting with each other.

    Hi Elliott,

    Sorry for any confusion, I was only using the galleria shortcode provided by your theme, not any other galleria plugin.

    I only had a couple of active plugins, but I deactivated all plugins, cleared my browser cache, and the error is still appearing.

    Does it disappear when you take the galleria out of your post? Send us a link to the page and paste the code your using here.

    Elliott,

    The galleria shortcode is used in most of the blog posts, so when I removed it from the first post, the error is still there, except it shows beneath the second blog post instead of the first.

    Link to the page is: http://goo.gl/r7KMF

    Code looks like this:

    <center>[galleria height="500" enable="show_imagenav,lightbox"]
    [image](img url)[/image]
    [image](img url)[/image]
    [image](img url)[/image]
    [image](img url)[/image]
    [image](img url)[/image]
    [/galleria]</center>

    Try adding this in /wp-content/themes/[your_theme]/functions.php before the ending ?> tag,

    function remove_shortcode_from_feed($content) {
      if ( is_feed() ) {
        $content = strip_shortcodes( $content );
      }
      return $content;
    }
    add_filter('the_content', 'remove_shortcode_from_feed');

    Hi Elliott,

    I think I found another issue which I believe relates to the matter above, I believe I have an issue with the galleria shortcode in general, as it appears to be omitting the thumbnail for the last image in each instance. If you take a look at these examples:

    http://goo.gl/50DlI
    http://goo.gl/xhrbi
    http://goo.gl/AQC81

    —you can see that each gallery has three images, but is displaying only two thumbnails. Likewise a gallery with two images shows only one thumbnail, etc. I'm suspicious that I somehow caused this glitch during a problematic site move procedure that I flubbed a bit, but I don't know what specifically I could have done. Is there any way to restore the script for the gallery included with this theme?

    It's my (completely uneducated) guess that this might be why it was breaking the RSS feed before.

    Thanks again.

    Strangely this is only happening on one of my computers and only in Chrome. I can't seem to replicate it on other computers. Perhaps a simple restart will fix.

    Restart and clear cache didn't work on this computer (2006 Mac Book Pro). Sort of mysterious, I do think there's an issue with the script on my install, but if I can't replicate the problem elsewhere, I don't know if anything can be done about it.

    I'm seeing three thumbnails on my end. Do you have a caching plugin installed? Try refreshing it's cache.
