Replace internal contact form with Contact Form 7; add CSS support for it

  1. I started to get a lot of spam from my contact form, and searching here on the forums, the developers seem to be recommending Contact Form 7 as a replacement, since it adds full Akismet spam validation, CAPTCHA and even a Quiz. I had a good experience with Contact Form 7 on other sites (with other templates!) so I gave it a try under Awake.

It certainly works fine enough, although Contact Form 7 has some limitations in terms of backoffice-based styling, and, of course, the CSS classes have different names (e.g. wpcf7-form).

I'd like to suggest that you drop your own contact form widget and just simply include Contact Form 7 on future releases and add the appropriate CSS classes to the current stylesheet. Your job as a theme developer is outstanding, and it makes all the sense to focus on template, style, and the unique characteristics of Awake/inFocus, while letting other plugins do the hard work for you :)
