How can I remove the Twitter widget area in the body of a page (i.e. not sidebar) of Deja Vu (vs 2.3)? There doesn't appear to be any mechanism to remove it, which seems odd, given that widgets in the sidebar appear editable.

  2. Hi!

That's strange, the widget shouldn't be in your content section. Could you send us a link to your site?

I don't know if it's called a widget when it's not in a sidebar, but the fact is I can remove it from the Home page, but there are no options for removing it from other pages -see: http://2nsb.org/test/sample-page/

The homepage has it's own outro in Dashboard -> your theme -> Homepage.

For the rest of the outros you can find that setting in Dashboard -> your theme -> Footer.

Thanks, but that's not very well described, designed, or explained, is it? I mean, what is an "outro"? And you now have three sections at the bottom of a page that could be considered "footers"...the Copyright section, the megamenu section, and the "outro"! How about calling them "Extra Content Containers" - a bit more descriptive, and is used to great effect in the Rapidweaver web design software -(http://www.realmacsoftware.com/rapidweaver)
