Recent Post Thumbs & Post Image field

   I'm having trouble getting thumbnail images in recent posts to function properly. The image URL is accurate. I think the issue is the re-sizing script.

   In Firebug is shows 400 error in the "getThumb.php:
   http://www.izmostock.com/wp-content/themes/awake/lib/scripts/thumb.php?src=http://www.izmostock.com/content/img/bmw_X5_sunroof.jpg&w=126&h=90&zc=1&q=100

   What is the thumbnail script that Awake uses?

   I'm not sure if this is related, but seems to be. The other day after a new blog post there was a persistant memory leak on the server causing 500 error timeouts. There is no lack of memory on this server, so it leads me to this thumbnail conversion script. Since then I re-booted with a backup of the website prior to the memory leak. All is fine until I place a image URL in the "Post Image field" of a new blog post. Then there is a time out and no recent post tumbnails.

   Hello izmostock,

   Awake uses the TimThumb PHP script which you can find in /wp-content/themes/awake/lib/scripts/thumb.php

   Make sure this file and the /cache/ directory both have 777 permissions. Also make sure the /lib/scripts/ directory has 777 permissions.

   Thanks for you help. The URL you provided got me down a path that worked. Download and install the current TimThumb php
   http://timthumb.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/timthumb.php

   and then changed both permissions to 755

   It all works now. Thanks again.
