Re Customising the speed of transition of the front page slider

   Hi,

   I would like to increase the speed at which the front page slider, slides from one image/heading to another. At the moment, it functions, however i would like this to be faster.

   Could you advise me of the section within the .js which controls this?
   and the recommended settings (current, slow, fast)

   Hi memeree,

   1. Please locate the file named custom.js in [theme_path]\js.
   2. Look for timeout: $duration (line 53).
   3. Replace $duration with the number for each transition in miliseconds. eg (timeout: 500, will play the slides every 0.5 seconds). Please remember that the time is calculated in miliseconds, so for 5 secounds you would have to use 5000.
   4. Save and refresh!

   As for the recommended settings, the default is 5000ms. If you want it faster, decrease the number, or slower, increase the number!

   could you please help further? I'm trying to locate the file you are referring here to, but, no luck...where is the custom.js file? I don't even see (theme_path)js...

   I'm using awake / elegance / soft light
