Question and a couple of tweaks

  1. Hello,

    1) Persuasion is not generating any image thumbnails for posts on my blog summary page. The image placeholder is there (hover text shows up), there's just no actual image.

    2) Please point me in the right direction to change the font size of the "posted on [date] with [number] comments" text.

    3) I prefer to have the subject headings (i.e. "Name", "Email", "Captcha") on the left-hand side of the user fields, rather than on the right-hand side as they are by default. Please point me in the right direction.

    4) Similarly, I want to increase text size of the "Recent Posts" widget.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello KEXINO,

    1. If possible send us a link to your site so we can take a closer look.

    2. There are a few areas where the post meta displays. Go ahead and send us a link to your page where your wanting to change the size.

    3. Try using our contact form shortcode instead of the widget.

    4. Navigate to Dashboard -> your theme -> General Settings -> Custom CSS and add this line,

    .mysite_recent_widget p { font-size: 20px; }

  4. Hi Elliott,

    A couple more issues:

    1) I have set the homepage to display blog entries. However the blog entry titles don't show-up.
    2) The "Read More" button blends into the background. How do I change the color and hover color?
    3) I would also like to increase font size for the "posted on [date}" text on the blog entries, as well as on the blog main page.

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Looks like it could be a problem with your custom font. When you add a new cufon font try this, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/additional-cufon-fonts-not-woking.

    2. It looks like you changed the color scheme of your skin to white. I would go ahead and change it to green or something else so most of your elements do not blend in with the content background. Try adding this in Dashboard -> your theme -> General Settings -> Custom CSS,

    .post_more_link { border-color: green !important; background: green !important; }

    3. Add this in the custom css section also,

    .meta_date { font-size: 20px !important; }

  6. Fantastic, Elliott. Thanks so much. Everything seems to be working correctly now.

    One (final!) thing: How do I change the font size and color of the title "Popular & Related Posts" module?

    Hi,

    You can paste this code in the "Custom CSS" field of the theme options panel:

    .blog_tabs a {
      font-size: 12px;
      color: #000;
    }

    Hi,

    Have you cleared the browser cache before testing the changes? Maybe your browser is storing an old version of the files.

    Also, could you please provide us a link to your page? So we can take a look at how the tweak is being applied.

  10. I have the same issue across multiple browsers, on multiple machines.

    Take a look at the bottom of the page http://ranasinha.com/first-day-of-school/ for an example.

    Try this,

    h6.additional_posts_title span { color: red !important; font-size: 12px !important; }

    If that does not work either then send us a private message with a Wordpress login and we'll take a closer look. You can send us a private message by clicking on "PM this user" beneath our usernames.
