    I'm trying to change the footer color. The background colors are a little confusing.

    What I did was choose the Blue skin and added this to the CSS to change the header:
    body, body > .multibg > .multibg {
    background: #5fa8e3 !important; }

    I'm not sure what "multibg" is but I think I changed the slider background color too which is ok. How would I add the footer to that, to make it the same color?

    Hi,

    This is the CSS tweak that you need in order to change the background color of the footer:

    #footer, #footer > .multibg > .multibg {
      background-color: #5fa8e3;
    }

    Try it and let us know the outcome.

    Yep - thanks, that does work!

    On a related note about color, I have a couple other things to change. How do I change the color of the little mail letter icon next to the text in the contact link that I have in the header bar? I added that link using the [email_link] shortcode and placing it in the "extra header text" area of the infocus homepage control panel. I changed the color of my links but the letter icon did not change. However, on the email link in the footer they are all the same. (maybe because that one is a widget).

    And the links - they're a light color to look good on the blue of the header & footer but the standard color of the rest is too light with an almost white page. I need to change the colors of the links in the sidebars, and the homepage body.

    Hi,

    About the email icon, go to the theme folder and open the file "shortcodes.css". In line #155 you will find this code:

    .email_link {
        background: url("images/shortcodes/sprites/custom_sprite_dddddd.png") no-repeat scroll -340px -283px transparent;

    Replace it with:

    .email_link {
        background: url("images/shortcodes/sprites/custom_sprite_dddddd.png") no-repeat scroll -340px -283px transparent !important;

    About the links, go to the theme options panel, and paste this code in the "Custom CSS" field:

    #content a {
      color: #000;
    }

    Replace #000 with your own color code, and let us know the outcome.

    Speaking of icons, isn't there supposed to be a little icon next to the city location and another mail letter icon next to the email address next to the city in the footer which is a Contact Link widget? I could have sworn there was yesterday. I took out that widget and put it back in again but still nothing.

    One more question about the link color. With that code in custom CSS it changes all of the link colors in the body but not those in a sidebar widget. On one page I am using a text box widget on the sidebar with a fancy_list code pasted inside of it. Those links dont change color or underline when you hover. I'd like to make them behave just like the body links where its one color and goes darker when you hover but how would I do that?

    Hello flightlineaviationme,

    You can change the link color and hover color with our skin editor. It should change it in both the body and the sidebar, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Creating_a_new_Skin#General_Typography.
