Hi guys, just upgraded to IE 9 and noticed that a few things don't work like the logo you can type in from the main user panel, the headers, the text button image that goes across the top of each page and also labels the topic of the page as well as the header images or text in the footer and on all side bars such as "contact us" etc. Not sure what else isn't showing up as of yet.

Are you aware of this issue and do you have a fix yet?

    my url is http://www.jstylefilms.com

works fine in all other browsers.

    Hi,

In order to fix this, you have to update cufon to the latest version. Download it from: http://cufon.shoqolate.com/js/cufon-yui.js?v=1.09i

There, replace the file inside "lib/scripts/" with this new one.

Hi - what is that link? Was it supposed to be some kind of file that downloaded? It's just a white page with a bunch of alpha numeric text.

  4. Hi JayCarver,
here is what you need to do:
    - right-click on that link and select "save as"
    - You'll get a file called cufon-yui.js
    - Move that file to your server in wp-content\themes\infocus\lib\scripts\ and replace the old one
    - You're done :)

If you still have any problems, feel free to reply here.

    Hello xpy86,

What issues are you having with IE9? I checked your site but I didn't see anything unusual.

I would lie and say it's only IE9 that I'm having this issue but I had it in IE8 as well. It looks like there's about 2-5 pixels of padding between my sub menu and my sub-sub menu. I thought maybe ie9 would fix the problem. Is there any fix for this?

    Hello Elliott

I have tried with different computers, and in them I can not see some of my texts.

These include numbers in the column on the frontpage and on the tekst on other sides. It is the custom font, which can not be seen.

@ntrablue, Send us a link to your site and take a screenshot highlighting the issues you are having.

@xpy86, Make sure that your not in compatibility view.

I'm on OSX and I don't have my Windows machine to take a screenshot of the internet explorer problem. However, my site is eatfreshmo.com

It looks like you have done some customization to your menus. Try switching to one of the default skins to see if it does the same.

I'm not sure if this will help you but you can try it, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/navigation-issue-in-ie9#post-22834.

Thanks Elliott, I definitely screwed up the navigation on black.css. Is there anyway I can revert it to the default? Thanks in advance for your help.

You should be able to find it in our skin browser, http://mysitemyway.com/skins/?s=black.

Thanks. Sadly, changing to a different skin did not fix the problem. (Though, I must say I like the skin better) I'm still getting about 2-5 pixels worth of separation between the sub menu and the sub-sub menu. For example when you mouse over "Stores" and then mouse over "Columbia" from there on internet explorer at least it is impossible to go over to Ashland without the whole thing disappearing. Again, this problem only occurs in IE as far as I can tell. I've also tried this solution to no avail

Thanks for sticking with me. Sorry for all the trouble.

Your menus still have a bunch of padding on them. Go ahead and switch to one of the default themes with no customizations so we can see what it's doing.

Okay, I reset it to the default theme I think. I turned off my Word Press Menu.

They are still looking kind of weird. Have you done any customizations?

Go ahead and create a backup and then completely delete the theme from your Wordpress theme folder and then download / upload a fresh copy.

Well, I don't know what I did to the navigation originally but uninstalling and reinstalling it seemed to do the trick. Thank you! However; now the sub menus are appearing behind the slider. :D

Thank you so much for sticking with me, Elliott. Really appreciate the support. I'll let you know if this worked as I don't have access to Internet Explorer at this second.
