Posts aren't showing their content- only the same static page

   Hi, I am trying to use the shortcodes and everything to make my posts appear, but they aren't showing up- instead I see the same page as the homepage, even for the "about me" pages and the like. When I look at the URL in the browser window I can see the page id (example- stockphotogeek.com/?page_id=9) but no unique content.

   Any help is much appreciated!

   I'm sorry but I am having trouble understanding. Are you using the blog shortcode?

   If possible then send us a link to your site so we can take a closer look.

   Thanks Elliott- that is the link: http://www.stockphotogeek.com/?page_id=9 for what I'm talking about. It should be the About Me page, but nothing I've written in the backend "about me" shows up. I'll PM you a login.

   Hello,

   This seems like a problem with the permalinks. I think your server configuration has something to do with it.

   Try navigating to the "Permalinks" section of your Wordpress admin panel, and hit the "Save Changes" button, so the permalinks rules get reset.

   If that does not work, please ask your hosting provider if the "mod_rewrite" extension is working in your server. You can also take a look at this official guide: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Fixing_Permalink_Problems

   Thanks Ruderic, that was it! I had a custom permalink structure that wasn't working- I switched it around to a standard month/day setting and saved it then everything started working.
