    Hi, I have been creating a site using infocus and having a pretty easy time with it, but I have ran into a problem. I was creating a gallery for a page and after I created it, I went and checked it and didn't have a problem. I reloaded the page and my gallery stopped working. After that, any post I would make would go to another page (portfolio) no matter what I did. I deleted and trashed the category and the page itself and it would still continue to make any new post go under that portfolio page I had created.

    I tried looking on the forums before posting, but I couldn't find anything that was of any help. If you need a password to check it out yourselves just let me know. Thanks in advance!

    Hello runningrasta,

    It sounds like your portfolio is using the default category. Try switching the category used in the shortcode to something else.

    If that does not help then go ahead and PM us a Wordpress login so we can take a closer look.

    I checked and the gallery has the right shortcode. It is still just letting me post to the Portfolio page and nothing else. Even if I publish the post, it won't even show up on the Portfolio page either.

    Sent you a PM. Thanks.

    I noticed that your portfolio shortcode was surrounded by code tags. It was just a display issue but I took them off.

    Your inmedia category is a child of your portfolio category so all of your portfolio posts will display there also. If you do not want this then make your inmedia category a parent as well.

    Another customer was doing the exact same thing and we did some edits since his portfolio was already filled out, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/problem-with-how-posts-appear-on-portfolio-parent-page

    You can try that but it would be easier to just make all of your portfolio categories parents.

    Let us know if this helps runningrasta.

    You are right, it would be easier just to make them all parent categories. It does work now though. Thanks, the support here is really outstanding!

    One last thing, the gallery isn't working when I click the picture. I have the link set in the gallery box, but it still doesn't work. Once again, thanks.

    It looks like we need to update prettyPhoto. Follow the instructions in this thread, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/infocus-and-wordpress-31, and let us know if that works for you runningrasta.

    Thanks again, I should have been able to find that myself *facepalm*. One more question while I have you, I found a thread that spoke about eliminating a posts title, but it was for the awake theme. Is the process similar for the infocus theme as well? If so, how would you go about doing it? Any post I have will be for a gallery with exception of two pages (About and Contact).

    So if there is a hack and slash way to do it that is fine, I don't need an elegant solution. Thanks.

    Hi,

    Could you please provide us a link to your website? So we can see what you are trying to modify.

    Also, could you give us a deeper explanation on the titles that you want to hide?

    Sure, http://www.samuelmilburn.com/. I just want to hide the post titles. In my galleries, I don't want there to be title text underneath my images (looks bad to me).

    Hi,

    To remove the titles from the gallery, go to the theme folder and open the file "lib/includes/template-portfolio-gallery.php".

    Then delete lines #220 to #229. This is the code that you have to delete:

    <?php if(!$read_more_disable) { ?>
    <h3 class="portfolio"><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a>
    <?php }else{ ?>
    <h3 class="portfolio"><?php the_title(); ?>
    <?php } ?>
    <?php if($date) { ?>
    <br/><span class="date"><?php echo $date;?></span>
    <?php } ?>
    </h3>
