Ok at the moment i have my posts set to show up on my home page. What i want to do is keep the 5 posts there but i also want to be able to create a blog with posts just going to a single page such as a page called articles that do not show up on the home page, basicly as a standard blog. Any ideas.

    Hello matty_40rulz,

I see on your homepage that you have a portfolio showing. Are you wanting to create a blog list under the portfolio?

I wanna leave those 5 posts on the home page and thats it. then i wanna have a page dedicated to blog posts that do not show up on the home page if that makes sense.

Are you wanting to create a blog page? If so then create a new page called "Blog" or something similar and then navigate to Dashboard -> inFocus -> Blog and select your page under the "inFocus Blog Page" dropdown.

After saving your settings your blog posts will now display on that page. Is this what you were wanting to do matty_40rulz?

No i dont think so lol. because i have 5 posts already on my home page with pictures above them, i dont want to change where they are displayed they need to stay on the home page. i Will make a new page called articles i then want to start wrinting blog posts so the new posts got to the new article page and not display on the homepage.

Whenever i post a blog it automatically goes to the homepage, the ones that are on my home page i want to stay but now when i start to write new material i want it to be on a seperate page not the homepage.

    Its confusing ino.

    Hello,

Have you used any PHP files provided in this forums to achieve the homepage with blog posts?

If so, could you please upload that file, so I can modify it and add this functionality to the theme.
