Post Image on Blog - Spinning Wheel

   Hi there,

   I am having an issue with the 'post images' on my website blog (Awake theme). For each post, I add the full url of an image into the 'Post Image' field. For example: http://www.twilighthistories.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Lord-of-the-Flies-Image.jpg

   When I update or preview the blog, only the most recent post will show the selected image. All the other blog posts beneath show a 'spinning wheel'. Please look at this page to see what I mean: http://www.twilighthistories.com/blog/

   Any suggestions?

   Try this, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/share-this-post-not-working-in-32?replies=2#post-21851.

   Since your using an outdated version you'll also want to update the timthumb resize script. Copy the following code in this page, http://timthumb.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/timthumb.php, and paste into a new file called "thumb.php" and upload into /wp-content/themes/[your_theme]/lib/scripts/ to overwrite the old one.

   If I updated to the latest version of Awake, do you think this problem would go away?

   If this is the case, I am a bit hesitant to update because I don't want to accidently erase all my work. Could you perhaps direct me to a thread that describes how I can safely update to the latest version of Awake?

   Did you try the fix I suggested in my previous post?

   It would be better to update but you will have to redo all of your customizations (if you have done any) and reconfigure your settings. If you still wish to try then see here, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Updating_Awake_and_inFocus_to_2.0.
