Pagination and Recent Portfolio posts

   Hi

   First of all, a wonderful theme, thanks for sharing it to the rest of us.

   I am trying to translate the theme and have managed everything except the pagination. I edited the text in wp-pagenavi.php but nothing happened. What shall I do?

   I would also like to have a widget like Recent Posts which only shows portfolio posts. I guess a minor change to the Recent Posts widget would do the trick but I can't figure it out. Is there someone out there that can help?

   Hi SimplyGreat,
   Glad to hear you're liking the theme.

   In 'wp-pagenavi.php' replace line # 111

   $pages_text = str_replace("%CURRENT_PAGE%", number_format_i18n($paged), $pagenavi_options['pages_text']);

   With this:

   $pages_text = str_replace("%CURRENT_PAGE%", number_format_i18n($paged), $pagenavi_options['pages_text']);
   $pages_text = str_replace("Page ", 'Translate  ', $pages_text);

   Change the word 'Translate ' to whatever you'd like.

   In regards to having the "inFocus - Recent Posts" widget only shows portfolio post,

   You can make this customization on line # 164 in the following file:

   wp-content/themes/infocus/lib/functions/widgets.php

   Just change the "cat=" argument to the category ID of your portfolio post, for instance:

   $posts = get_posts("cat=5&numberposts=3&offset=0");

   Excellent, thanks a lot for quick help.

   If I want to keep both the Recent Posts widget as it is and make a new widget with the customization made above, is that a lot of work?

   Actually I managed to fix this myself but I can't seem to get the thumbnails to show.

   Any ideas?

   Hi SimplyGreat,

   The thumbnails are probably not showing up because the recent post widget generates the thumbnails based on the 'Post Image' option under the 'inFocus General Post Options'. Unless you have an image defined their the thumbnail won't show up.
