Page Formatting Issue

  1. HI - I feel a bit embarrassed about this as it is more than likely my fault but I cant find the solution. The home page is still formatted fine as are Parent Pages along the main nav bar but sub pages are all as per screenshot attached. I have disabled all plugins just in case one was causing the issue but that didnt work.

If you have any suggestions I would be really grateful.

    Many thanks . . .

    Hello,

It seems that the HTML layout of the website is broken. Could you please provide us a link to your website?

    Hello,

I just visited your website, and it seems to work fine. Did you mange to fix this issue?

  4. Hi Ruderic - once again many thanks for your help. No, the issue is still current.

If you go to http://www.zizbangkok.com/stay/hotel-collection/ you will see what I mean. Please login as to see the site. What I was wondering was whether we could upload a clean version of Awake (we are using the latest version anyway) and overwrite the existing version but it is strange that it has happened in the first place. We have been playing with short codes but nothing else.

Hope I am not being naive.

    Many thanks, Adrian

  6. Hi Ruderic, Sorry we are working on it at the moment and must have literally just fixed that page. We are using the latest version of Firefox as well as Awake.

The issue is definitely caused when we select <Intro Options > Completely Disable Intro>

    E.g. http://www.zizbangkok.com/portfolio/mandarin-oriental-bangkok-hotel/

Any pointers at this stage would be very gratefully received,

    Thanks . . .

  7. Hi Ruderic - Just to up-date we have changed all portfolios over to Text & Teaser and everything is working fine. Sorry for the run around.

  8. Hello Ruderic, I'm afraid we still need your help / recommendations on the page formatting issue as it is affecting back office / Admin as well as the front end as per the screen shots.

    1. If we set any Portfolio Item to "Intro Options > Completely Disable Intro" the portfolio gets thrown to the right as above.

    2. We installed Events Calendar Pro and the same thing has happened. NB we also downloaded your templates (http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/making-a-plugin-work-with-awake-theme#post-16986) and uploaded them to our server and got the following message:
"Warning: require(WEBTREATS_INCLUDES/var.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/zizbangk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-premium/views/gridview.php on line 6"

I realise that this is a 3rd party plugin but if you could shed light on the page formatting issue and the error message it would be great. Does

    3. The Awake Theme Admin Option also have HTML / CSS issues as per attached screenshot.

Would be very grateful if you could advise what the best course of action is to take at this stage as we are baffled.

    Thanks

  10. The page formatting issue in Firefox (latest Version) is caused by adding the www prefix to your URL. E.g. http://zizbangkok.com which is fine v's http://www.zizbangkok.com which for some reason throws the css out.

It has taken a lot of time and pain to get this diagnosis and if anyone has some bright ideas they would be very gratefully received because we would rather keep the www. prefix.

Has anyone else come across this in FF?
