I have been trying to update our site and the nivo slider on our portfolio pages won't work.

It has worked and continues to work on our other older pages.

    any advise is appreciated

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but no one from MSMW staff have responded to this forum or email contacts for over 8 months. I'm just another MSMW client lending a helping hand :-).

I can't see the page you referred as non-functional since it is a preview link to a page which is only visible to administrators.

I did take a look at the following link and found an error related to your NivoSlider not being found.

    For a possible fix see

    Hope that helps.

Geez... thats no good. Thank you for responding regardless, I really appreciate it.

I pasted this into additional headers and it still doesn't work. Did I do this correctly?

Not sure. This fix was just a suggestion.

I might be able to help if you have a link to the we page that is causing you trouble. No promises but I'll take a quick look.

Your website at that works correctly is using an infocus2 theme.

You website at that is NOT working correctly is using an infocus theme. It is looking for a Nivo slider file that is being returned as a blank file.

Solution: Copy your infocus2 theme to the other website.

Let me know how you go.

thanks! I don't know how the themes switched. I didn't do anything different other than update wordpress. How do I copy the theme to InFocus2?

Your theme is a folder on your computer at .../wp-content/themes. Just copy the theme folder to your other computer.

See attached screen shot. InFocus2 theme is in there. Both of those pages are on the same website.

    Any other suggestions?

Go into your WordPress admin interface and you should then see both themes. Switch active theme from InFocus to InFocus2. Note that this may affect your widget configurations which, annoyingly, are theme-specific. From your questions regarding how to switch your theme I would assume that someone else set up your website for you. You will need to contact them to guide you forward.

NOTE: At this stage I am going to drop out on this one and leave you to your own devices. I am only helping out on theme bugs and this is not a theme bug. I wish you good luck though and hope you can get assistance to sort this out quickly. It does not appear that you have an issue other than theme activation.
