   Hi,

   I want to setup the functionality of when someone clicks on a portfolio, it opens up to a gallery.

   For instance I setup a wedding category, made a wedding page, and I created a wedding portfolio grid. But when you click on the images it doesn't go to that particular portfolio. It just goes to the other featured image of the other wedding portfolio.

   Then if you click the read more link it goes to the portfolio, but then when you click on the image, it opens up to another page with the image.

   I figured out the first part - but how do I get it so that when someone clicks on a portfolio it opens up to a gallery? Like a slideshow?

   Hello mikeycolon,

   Open up /wp-content/themes/[your_theme]/lib/shortcodes/15-portfolio.php and on line 275 you should see this,

   'group' => $img_group,

   Change it like this,

   'group' => 'my_portfolio',

   And then do the same on line 623.

   You will need to use an FTP client such as filezilla, http://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Using.

   Hi Elliott,

   No luck - it's still doing the same thing. When someone clicks on a portfolio - then an image it still opens up to another page and not a lightbox. Please help. Thanks

   The default behaviour of your portfolio items is to open up in lightbox. Send us a link to your page (your previous link the images are not loading) and take a screenshot highlighting what your trying to do.

   I added the code as instructed but now my portfolio page won't show up. Check it out: http://nextlevelphoto.com/weddings

   To reiterate, I wanted to have a wedding page. In the wedding page would be different couple's weddings. I wanted it so when you click on the portfolio thumbnail it would open up to couple "a's" wedding. Then when the images are clicked on, I wanted it to open up in a lightroom. OR on the main wedding page click on the portfolio thumbnail and then have images open up in a lightroom.

   My original problem was when someone went to couple "a's" wedding page and clicked on a thumbnail, a separate webpage would open up.

   I hope this makes sense!

   As I said before your images are not loading on that page. Your getting a javascript error which appears to be coming from "fancybox" ? Try deactivating your plugins.

    Your not getting the javascript error anymore but your images are still not loading. Have you done any customizations?

    Create a backup and completely delete the theme before downloading / uploading a fresh copy.

    So after creating a backup, do I restore it after I nuke it and reinstall it? Or do I have to start from scratch? Thanks again!

    Yes, completely delete the theme and download a fresh copy after creating your backup.
