I am using the theme persuasion, downloaded just a few days ago so I suspect up to date, along with a fresh install of WP, also up to date.
I want to have a series of fancy images, such as is displayed on this page:

and I would like to be able to open one, and use the Next Prev buttons to move from one image to the next.
What it looks like to me, from looking at the example going to this url:
http://themes.mysitemyway.com/?theme=Persuasion
and clicking on the Shortcode dropdown menu and then on Fancy Images - and then looking at the code, is that the wrapper [fancy_images] has to go around the whole group for them to be linked for navigating from one the other. And when I added two images to a page using the fancy_image code, per the first link above, wrapping each image separately in the [fancy_image] tags so as to be able to specify a different width and height for the different images, then they display on the page, and open in lightbox as I want, but I cannot open one image and then click the next button to go the next image - it just repeats the same image.
