I would like to add multiple portfolios to one page.

I am working on a site for a flooring company in which they have multiple "collections" of product families. I have created multiple post categories for each product collection. But when I try to add multiple portfolio gallerys to one page, the shortcode only works for one of the post categories. Is there a way to get them to appear for multiple categories?

The site is http://www.valleyflooringllc.com. It is currently in maitenance mode. PM me for a guest login.

    Hello mhexter,

The inFocus portfolio currently does not have this functionality. In the next update you will be able to use multiple portfolios in the same page.

In the meantime you might be interested in our fancy_images shortcode, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/infocus-creating-gallery-from-a-set-of-photos, which basically does the same thing.

Has the new update to allow for multiple portfolios been released yet?

    Hi Elliott,

I am still not able to figure this out. I have to create a portfolio with three categories - Design, Installs, and Before & After. Is this possible? If so, can you help step me through this? I have created the Portfolio Categories as listed above but I can't figure out how to have multiple portfolios. I am upgraded to the latest version of the template and WP already.

Do I have to upload each image as a Portfolio post (this is like 50+ images I am working with). Thanks again.

Yes you will need to create a new portfolio post for each image. Or you can use our fancy_images shortcode as I suggested in my previous post, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/infocus-creating-gallery-from-a-set-of-photos.

Here is what I tried but I keep getting a 404 Page Not Found Error:

    - Uploaded each image as its own portfolio pots
    - Assigned each image a category (Designs, Before & After, or Projects)
    - Created pages called Designs, Before & After, and Projects
    - Inserted shortcode: [portfolio_grid column="3" showposts="40" cat="designs" disable="title,excerpt,date,more,visit"] to correspond to each page/category
-When I preview the page, it appears ok, but when I publish, I get the error.

    Any thoughts?
