Method Displaying DIfferent in Browsers

  1. I've recently upgraded to the new WP release (v3.6.1) and I'm finding varied display errors across browsers. Thinking the Theme may have some "fixes" as well, I've also followed your forum posts on updating the Theme, but this did not fix. I'm lost.

In Explorer 10 the footer is off, no logo appears and the slider now not working. In Firefox and Chrome (Version 30.0.1599.69 m), the footer is now another column on the home page and the slider doesn't show, but the logo does. I've searched the forum for individual solutions but no specific answers posted to help me fix.

    The domain is:

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Hello jeudy,

Add this in Dashboard -> your theme -> General Settings -> Additional Headers,

    <script type = "text/javascript" src = ""></script>

And for the footer that's a problem with the code your using on the homepage. Most likely a shortcode or other HTML element that is not being closed properly. Make sure all shortcodes and other HTML you may be using are being closed properly.

  3. Thanks for the reply Elliott.

I added the line of script to my Additional Headers field as you suggested. The logo shows up in Firefox and Google Chrome, but not Internet Explorer 10. Also - the slider doesn't show up at all in any of the three browsers.

While we made no changes to the site content since we've upgraded (haven't gotten that far), I did check the code on the HTML as you suggested. After careful examination, we didn't find anything hanging open. Additionally, it worked fine before we upgraded to WP 3.6.1 and didn't after. This was one of the things we hoped upgrading the theme would have fixed.

    Any additional thoughts?

Sorry, there was a typo. It should look like this,

    <script type = "text/javascript" src = ""></script>

  5. What exactly should I be seeing change with this code being added? While I've updated it with what you sent last reflecting the fix on the typo, nothing has changed in the three browsers.

    Just checking.

Are you sure? I'm still seeing this in your source code,

    <script tabs.min.js"="" scripts="" lib="" method="" themes="" wp-content=""""; http:="" type="text/javascript src = "></script>

You can see the quotes are in the wrong places when compared to the line in my post. Try adding it again and deactivate all plugins.

  7. Yes, I've attached a couple screen shots for you to verify. Also, I've deactivated all plugins and still not seeing improvement. Welcome to my frustration!
