    Hi

    I know this is something you have been asked before, but I just can't get it to work.

    I am using the default font for the construct theme and I really like that one so I would like to use it, but I can't get it to work with any of the custom css I have found for changing the hover color for the main menu.

    it works if I change the font to Arial and write:

    .jqueryslidemenu a:hover span {
    color: #EA753E;
    }

    Is it posible to write something that will work with the default font? And is it possible to change the color of the active page as well? So that if you are on the contact page it will be orange?

    I am working offline with the page at the moment so I can't link to it.

    btw. I really like your theme!

    hmm.. Now I have tried the following javescript:

    jQuery(document).ready(function(){
    jQuery('.jqueryslidemenu a').hover(function(){
    Cufon.replace(this, { color: '#ea753e', fontFamily: 'Varela' });
    }, function(){
    Cufon.replace(this, { color: '#444', fontFamily: 'Varela' });
    });
    });

    This seems to work to get the hover effect while using the font, but I am still fighting to get it to use the orange color for the active page. Any takes on how to do that?

    Hello Christian Vinther,

    You should be able to target the current page like so,

    .current_page_item, .current_page_item a, .current_page_ancestor, .current_page_ancestor a { }

    Send us a link and we'll take a look.

    Thank you for your fast response!

    I am working locally in MAMP so I can't send you guys a link.

    I am pretty new to this so could you please elaborate?
    at the moment my custom css is empty and my custom JavaScript ony has this:

    jQuery(document).ready(function(){
    jQuery('.jqueryslidemenu a').hover(function(){
    Cufon.replace(this, { color: '#ea753e', fontFamily: 'Varela' });
    }, function(){
    Cufon.replace(this, { color: '#444', fontFamily: 'Varela' });
    });
    });

    BTW, if I where to make a static "under construction" page to show as the frontage so I could work online on the site without anybody being able to see the work in progress, would that be possible? I have done it with other themes, but the way I have done it before does not work with this theme...

    I'm not sure how to elaborate, all of the code you need has been posted.

    Here is a coming soon plugin you can use, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ultimate-coming-soon-page/.

    I have tried to post that code onto both custom css and custom javascript and it does not do the trick. It actually does something that disables the colorshift on hover.

    Just to make sure what it is I am hoping to achieve makes any sense.. I have another site where it has the effect I would like to have: http://www.heliscandia.dk (it is another theme). There the menu shifts shifts to orange color when you hover with the mouse and the page you are on is also displayed in orange in the menu. Is this effect possible to get with this theme?

    Sorry about all the questions, and thank you very much for the help!

    Hi again

    Now I am live at http://www.radijet.dk and whilst I am still not able to get it to show current page by making it orange, a larger issue have occurred and I am pretty lost here. I have moved the site from my local server to http://www.radijet.dk with filezilla and now all graphics like the drop caps and icons don't show. Or actually they do show when I am on my own machine, on which I made the site locally, but when I view the site from other machines they are not visible?. Do you know what might be wrong?

    Thanks.

    Try this,

    .current_page_item a span { color: red !important; }
