    Hi,
I have been hacked 3 times before realising that it was a problem with the thumb script. I have tries to update theme but it was all over the place so updated the timthumb script and added this however now the thumbnails under the slider are now not showing. I have given the file scripts /cache the 777 rights as i think i read but as a not very good online web guy i am struggling to correct this.

    link is here http://www.fashionable-weddings.co.uk

    Help would be appreciated

    many thanks

    Hello jamesnader,

It's saying something that the image contains errors. Try creating a test page and use the fancy_images shortcode on it with a smaller image around 300 x 200 and then send us a link to the page.

Also check that your /wp-content/themes/awake/cache/ directory has 777 or 755 permissions and go ahead and delete all of your cached images inside it.

I have set permissions at 777 and created a test page here http://www.fashionable-weddings.co.uk/testpage/
the image is not loading as the small thumbs. I have also cleared out the cache folder as suggested.

I am also experiencing extreme delay in accessing details within the site and find it hard to administer without becoming frustrated. I have cleared out the .php files placed in the cache for awake as this is where the problem was. It had also corrupted the footer.php file and now this no longer seems to work although there is a fresh install from the awake theme

    many thanks for your attention

Your link is giving me a 404.

Yes I can't see your footer either. It would probably be best if you updated to the latest version, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Updating_Awake_and_inFocus_to_2.0.

tried it and it worked it was as a draft for some reason however i have tried to update but it takes out all of the styling and links and gives me a complete raw site which is not what i want. It took a while to get the balance and content into the theme.

I look forward to your reply

oh by the way the images under the slider on the home page work on google chrome?

Your still getting a weird error about your image,

    Image corrupt or truncated: http://www.fashionable-weddings.co.uk/wp-content/themes/awake/lib/scripts/thumb.php?src=http://www.fashionable-weddings.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/national-wedding-show-fashionable-weddings-photographers.jpg&w=188&h=200&zc=1&q=100

    Try using a different one.

Your also getting a javascript error,

Permission denied to access property 'nodeName'
    [Break On This Error] (function(a,b){function cy(a){return f...h]&&f.event.trigger(c,d,b.handle.elem

Which I'm not sure where that's coming from, try deactivating your plugins.

Also since your using Awake 1.3 then you need to be using jQuery 1.4.2, do this, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/awake-theme-portfolio-page-not-working-after-upgrade-wordpress-to-32.

    I recommend updating to Awake 2.3, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Updating_Awake_and_inFocus_to_2.0.

The theme is giving me real issues in terms of accessing the back end and administering it. I get frozen out on browsers and just had a database error? this is constantly the problem. Could this be the host company? they originally shut down the site but re instated after a fresh install?

Here's the minimal white skin, http://mysitemyway.com/skins/custom-skins/legacy-minimal-white-01/.

It could be that your hosting provider blocked the thumb.php file also. I would ask them to whitelist it after you update it to the latest version.

Is there no other way of updating my site to the latest version? i have tried but it had none of the layouts or shortcodes bnut has the navigation pages. I would have thought it easier than this. I have spent many months trying to get it right and now if i update it will take me too long?

What is the best way for http://www.fashionable-weddings.co.uk

You can select the layouts when editing your post / page, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Page_Options#Sidebar_Layout, and the shortcodes you can select with our shortcode generator, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Using_the_Shortcode_Generator.

Make sure to read over the documentation, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Main_Page.
