lightbox plugin conflict?

    Hello Elliott, I'm using Elegance theme and having a problem with the lightbox feature.

    For my images to trigger Elegance's lightbox, I manually embedded the line: rel="lightbox[portfolio]" to each image (as you've suggested elsewhere).

    My client needs a different look for the lighbox and I've installed a third-party plugin. The theme lightbox shows behind the plugin lightbox every time. It even requires an extra click to close.

    My problem is, I don't know how to 'disable' the lightbox that ships with the theme.
    Neither lightbox triggers if I remove: rel="lightbox[portfolio]"

    Here is the link, we are working on the stills only: http://www.espringate.com/test-esp/main-gallery-2/destinies-made-manifest/

    Thanks in advance if you can talk me through this. I really appreciate it.

    Hello espringate,

    Try opening up /wp-content/themes/your_theme]/lib/scritps/custom.js and delete lines 114 - 119,

    /*
     * prettyPhoto
     */
    jQuery("a[rel^='prettyPhoto'], a[rel^='lightbox']").prettyPhoto({
    	overlay_gallery: false, social_tools: '', 'theme': prettyphotoTheme /* light_square / dark_rounded / light_square / dark_square / facebook */
    });

    Hi there - I am trying the above fix (which does work) but it stops the main menu drop downs from working??? Is there a fix for this?
    All the very best,
    Justin
