LightBox launches two lightboxes

    I'm having a problem with the Modular theme where photos are displayed using the LightBox. I had the LightBox 2 plug-in installed on my site before adding the Modular theme. Ever since adding the Modular theme when I click on a photo in a post, there are two separate light boxes launched simultaneously with one layered on top of the other.

    Closing one lightbox reveals the lightbox below the other.

    I can't seem to figure out what is causing this. I have tried disabling the LightBox2 Plug-In, disabling the Modular theme, etc. This problem does not exist when using other themes. If I disable the LightBox2 Plugin, it completely disables the LightBox.

    Example here: http://goo.gl/pWOCI
    Just click one of the photos on the screen. When you close the lightbox, there will be a second lightbox exposed.

    Any ideas?

    Hello twinturbo460,

    We bundle a script called "prettyPhoto" with our themes which is very much like lightbox.

    If you want to get rid of it and just use your plugin then open up /wp-content/themes/[your_theme]/lib/scripts/custom.js and comment out lines 75 - 77,

    jQuery("a[rel^='prettyPhoto'], a[rel^='lightbox']").prettyPhoto({
    	overlay_gallery: false, social_tools: '', 'theme': 'light_square' /* light_square / dark_rounded / light_square / dark_square / facebook */
    });

    How do I try the prettyPhoto script? Maybe it will meet my needs. I had LightBox installed before I installed the Modular theme and it seems to over-ride everything else. I tried deleting Lightbox, but then there it just displays a static picture from a specific URL.

    I tried commenting out the prettyPhoto script, but it didn't seem to do anything. I disabled and deleted Lighbox thinking maybe it was over-riding something, but then I get no light-box functionality.

    Where do I go from here? Remove the Modular them and re-install?

    Thank you

    prettyPhoto is already inside our themes and it should be working by default. Go ahead and deactivate all of your plugins and send us a link to your page.

    Hi Elliott,

    My site address is http://lambdatuner.com

    I have disabled all other plugins and restored the custom.js script to its original version.

    Presently, there is no lightbox or prettyPhoto functionality.

    Thank you for your quick response.

    Insert your images with our image_frame or fancy_images shortcodes for them to open up in prettyPhoto,
