less frequent updates please

   The last 3 updates have been only 4 days apart. I dont know about other people put my theme is heavily modified and it means making a load of changes to a load of files each time i update the theme.

   I saw the latest was just a few minor bug fixes - cant updates be scheduled at least 2 weeks apart or something? Save up these minor bug fixes so they amount to something significant. :)

   (also add version numbers to zip files) ;)

   Personally, I wouldn't mind the frequent updates if the process was easier. When you have heavily modified sites like most people, it's extremely difficult. It would be wonderful if you could figure out away for us to update/upgrade/apply updates without having to redo our entire sites.

   I also second the version numbers to zip files.

   If your using a Child theme, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Using_Child_Themes, then all you have to do in an update is copy the files over.

   Or you can view our changelogs, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Elegance_Changelog, and update the files one by one, introducing your customizations as you go.

   yes but its still time consuming, and child themes dont actually support a lot of modifications people make.

   1 update a month would be ideal and also a way that notifications can be seen within our admin area like plug ins etc.

   It would be nice to have it like the karma theme where in the theme area you get a notification of an update and then an option to over right or update. One click and its done.
