JQuery Framed Tab Won't Displaying Content past 2nd Tab.

  1. I'm stumped on this one, so I'm hoping fresh eyes can help me find a solution because this is mind boggling for me and killing delivery schedule. I have two sites I'm creating for one customer. On both sites, I'm using DejaVu theme, with the same core plugins. I've used the framed tabs on a specific page on both sites. One site works without a hitch. The other site, (running same versions of everything) has three tabs as well, but won't display the content past the 2nd tab. The tab name and tab itself shows as an option but no matter what content I put between the short codes, the content won't show.

I've disabled plugins to see if that made any difference as seen in other posts, but that didn't work. I've even copied the entire page from the one site that works and simply changed out content. That didn't even work! I've verified spelling, spacing, and even tried different tab short codes (button or vertical) - but for whatever reason the content I try to put in that third position just will not show. I even tried to copy the code/content for the 2nd tab - which is showing fine - added it after second tab, making a total of 4 tabs and the third and 4th position content just won't show. The tab titles show up, but not the content. It's confusing!

My system and plugins are updated and running with WP 4.2.2 and everything else appears to be working beautifully. I'm currently working with DejaVu version 2.7. (Althought there is nothing anywhere easy on your site that I can find that tells me what the current theme release version for me to compare if there is anything newer.) Working in Google Chrome Version 43.0.2357.81 m.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer!

    Hello jeudy,

Try creating a new page and add the tabs to it but place just text inside each tab such as, "tab 1, tab 2, tab 3, etc etc".

If it works there then it's most likely some HTML in your tabs that your not closing properly on the other page.

  3. Thanks! That helped me narrow it down and fix it. I so appreciate it. I had a weird dream about scouring code with elves and magnifying glasses. Sorta makes sense now. :) LOL!
