Job Manager Plug-in Conflict

   Hello,

   There appears to be a conflict between the Persuasion theme (and possibly others as I’ve seen another bug report regarding inFocus) and the Job Manager Plug-in. The pages associated with the plug-in break the cufon components of those pages. It seems to be a jQuery conflict, but it’s a little over my head. Disabling cufon in the Persuasion options panel reveals all header/teaser text. Will you please take a look and see if you can debug the problem? Plugin author has been non-responsive to most support requests.

   Running:
   WP version 3.2.1
   Cufon version 1.09i
   Job Manager version 0.7.18
   Problem exists in latest version of all major browsers.

   It also appears to break the email address in the contact widget as well. Related?

   Your getting some javascript errors on that page which is causing the cufon and email problem,

   Cufon is not defined

   /jobs/ (line 280)
   jQuery(".blog_layout1").preloader is not a function
   [Break On This Error] <script type="text/javascript">/* <![C...ncy_image_load' });/* ]]> */</script>

   Alrighty, it looks like none of the theme scripts are loading on the job page so it's most likely they are doing a template redirect.

   You can manually add the scripts in Dashboard -> Job Manager -> Display Settings by pasting them in the "Job List Template" field like so,

   <script type = 'text/javascript' src = 'http://yoursite.com/wp-content/themes/persuasion/lib/scripts/cufon-yui.js'></script>
   <script type = 'text/javascript' src = 'http://yoursite.com/wp-content/themes/persuasion/lib/scripts/prettyphoto/js/jquery.prettyPhoto.js'></script>
   <script type = 'text/javascript' src = 'http://yoursite.com/wp-content/themes/persuasion/lib/scripts/custom.js'></script>

   I also noticed that the plugin offers a bunch of shortcodes which is very nice. I would go ahead and create a new page and use the shortcodes there and you shouldn't have any problem with the theme scripts.
