Issue(s) with Timthumb

    I have installed a new shopping cart plugin (DukaPress), all is good - except for displaying thumbnail images in product catalogue mode.
    When attempting to view attached product images in catalogue view, I keep getting image placemarks instead of thumbnails.

    I followed your Timthumb troubleshooting suggestion (the one on ElegantThemes), as well as contacted DukaPress dev to make sure everything is OK. However, the issue is still there :(

    Can you please help me with this issue ?

    Also, is there an update coming for inFocus ?

    Hello Apple_Boy,

    Could you check to see if the image filesnames have any uppercase characters? If they do then try renaming the file to only undercase characters and see if the problem persists. If it does then go ahead and send us a link so we can take a closer look.

    I have modified an image name to lowercase, still no luck : (

    Hey Apple_Boy,

    It appears your images are being run through dukapress's timthumb script. Make sure that the dukapress plugin folder is writable and any folders associated with dukapress are writable also.

    Elliott,
    I played with permissions on plugin folder, as well as cache folders - no luck. At the end, I just tried changing temporarily permission on the whole thing, still no good.

    I would really appreciate any recommendations.

    Hey Apple_Boy,

    It appears other users of dukapress are having trouble with images displaying also.

    I feel that this is an issue relating to dukapress and not Awake. Perhaps you could try asking dukapress support and see what they think.

    Sorry about that Apple_Boy, I meant inFocus.. working with different themes all the time can get you switched around sometimes.
