Hi. I am having issues with the portfolio. First of all here is my website http://www.social-sky.com In my menu i have a gallery page. I want my gallery page to be my portfolio page where all my portfolio posts automatically show up as a 1 Column portfolio. I am a nightclub promoter so basically what I want to do is post all the pictures from every week (for example pictures from Saturday May 5th at Fiction Nightclub) as it’s own portfolio post and when they click on “Read More” button I want them to be directed to a portfolio post with all that weeks event pictures. How do I set this up? Also why is it that when i insert the galleria short code that i have to copy and paste the links individually to the picture? I have hundreds of pictures for a single event. It just doesn’t seem feasible to upload all those pictures AND THEN have to one by one copy and paste all the links. Is there a way around this for any of your galleries? Can’t I perform a mass upload of pictures and then insert them in the form of whatever gallery template I want?? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello raffikadafi,

See here for how to create portfolio posts, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Using_the_Portfolio. Make sure you set a category and a featured image to each post.

Next you can create a page and display them with our portfolio shortcodes, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Portfolio_Shortcode.

As for using lots of images you can try the default Wordpress [gallery] shortcode.

I am a little confused. Are you telling me that your portfolios do not take more than 20 pictures? and the ones that do I have to manually upload them one by one? This makes no sense.

You can use as many pictures as you want with our portfolios. You will need to upload them to the Wordpress media library to use them.

Ok. and then once I upload them i have to manually insert each and every picture into the fancy images gallery? Also i want to be able to have people sign up to my website to see certain pictures. Do you guys have a sign up and log in feature? If not can you recommend me a plug in that works well with this theme?
