inFocus problems after update

   Greetings,

   This topic is about the website: http://www.farumkyokushin.dk/
   Yesterday I noticed that the inFocus WordPress theme has been update and therefore I wanted to implement the new version.

   I did so and then my whole website went down. Afterwards I manage to get it partially up and running, but there are still some fixes etc. to be done.

   1. I used to have all the posts to be shown at the frontpage. After the update I have tried to use this fix, but it didn't do the trick (http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/cannot-get-blog-on-homepage?replies=8&message=update-support-forums-topic-status-error#post-2674).

   2. All pages containing text is half size. I need all my pages to be full width. Is it possible to make some changes in any php file?

   3. Also, I would like to know what changes has been made to the new inFocus version. Why did it make my website go bad and what should I have done instead to prevent this?

   I am looking forward to hearing from your amazing support! My site is critically needed to get back to working condition.

   Hello mp3dk,

   Did you update from inFocus 1.6? If then you'll need to reconfigure your theme settings, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Updating_Awake_and_inFocus_to_2.0.

   1. You can use our new [blog] shortcode, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Blog_Shortcode.

   2. You can select the sidebar layout when editing the page, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Page_Options#Sidebar_Layout.

   3. It depends on which version you updated from.

   Hello again,

   I do not know which version I was updating from. I think it was 1.6.

   Before I even had a change to update the correct way I managed to brake my website. So I decided to re-install the whole theme. It is up and running without problems now.

   Also, I would like to say that it's winderful that you have upgraded inFocus with the same features as the new themes (Fusion etc.). It works like a charm and it's a pleasure to work around it.

   In that case you will need to reconfigure your theme settings due to all of the code changes (moving inFocus to our new framework). http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Updating_Awake_and_inFocus_to_2.0

   Where do I find the infocus update, currently running version 1.6? I have checked my downloads folder on themeforest.net, nothing but the original template as far as I can see. OK, I found the problem. The updated version is in my downloads folder, but nobody mentioned that.

   Hello mhpoole,

   Since your using inFocus you will need to download the latest update from your themeforest downloads page. Keep in mind though that when updating from version 1.6 you will need to reconfigure your theme settings, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Updating_Awake_and_inFocus_to_2.0.

   I appreciate the reply. Nobody ever told me that the updated version just had to be downloaded again. It looked like the original downloaded template. No email, informing customers of the download?
