    Hi everybody,
    Hi OneTechPress,

first of all let me say a huge thank you for continuing the work on the MSMW templates! Today I finally switched from the old MSMW template to the newer one and everything works fine except for one thing - all the images on the page (blog post images as well as slider images) look slighty squeezed:

Can anyone help and give me a hint how to fix this?

    Regards,
    Sebastian

    Hi Sebastian,

    You are most welcome :-)

Regarding your image problem this is a known issue I am looking at right now. You can comment and / or follow progress at https://gitlab.com/BackStopThemes/FrameworkV1.0/issues/8

For security reasons I had to remove the TimThumb auto-resizing / auto-cropping software. So websites that had TimThumb configured lost the auto-resizing so the displayed thumbnails are now the original sized images squeezed into the thumbnail sized box. You can manually correct for this.

FYI: If you would like to be added to the BackStop Themes newsletter email me at admin@backstopthemes.com and I will add you to the list.

    Cheers,
    Tim

    Hi, Tim,

thanks a lot. I actually expected this to be due to the removed TimThumb thing (which actually is a _really_ good decision as I had my site hacked two times just because of TimThumb vulnerabilities). I just sent you a mail to sign me up for the newsletter. Once again big thanks for your work (and for the work of all the other contributers at GitHub).

  5. Hi Sebastian,

Perhaps you can use the 'regenerate thumbnails' plugin here at 'https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/' as I did when changing from previous themes to any BackStopThemes. It simply works for me -- you also need to re-adjust the resize settings in the theme options. Hope that helps.

And for Tim (OnePressTech), once again.. huge thanks for making these themes worked!

    Cheers Babeh.You are most welcome.

That is an excellent suggestion. I will add this to the issue in the BackStop Themes issue tracker as a workaround. See https://gitlab.com/BackStopThemes/ThemeCoreV2/issues/8 .

FYI - I have added one button-press support for theme auto-update like native WordPress themes to BackStop Themes. I think we all love the convenience of one button-press updates. Not sure why the MSMW team never added it. The feature will be released end of the month in V2.8.5.

    Cheers,
    Tim
