ie7 compatability issue

   When using any of the new themes in internet explorer (specifically 7), the navigation is loading behind the slider. Currently, I am using Echelon for our website's theme. Can you assist me with correcting this issue? Please review: http://www.marineandfamilyservices.com

   I would love to just upgrade to a newer version of IE however, our tech department will not be doing so for a while.

   Found this piece of code posted in the inFocus forum by Elliott:
   #header { z-index: 10000 !important; position: relative !important; }

   It looks okay. Can you suggest a more permant fix. The menu also seems to come off the page when hovering over the last menu item.

   Hello DerekMDH,

   For now you can use that line but I believe we have this fixed in our next update. We are going to add a few more shortcodes and features but it should be released here soon.

   Let us know if you see anything else.

   Hi, I just upgraded a site of mine to InFocus 2.8 … http://ricradiology.com … my client is getting this same problem (drop down menu going behind the main feature image).

   The site looks fine to them in Chrome and Safari. I'm not exactly sure what version of IE they have.

   I can't seem to recreate the error … is this an IE7 issue? Should it have been fixed in version 2.8?

   Hi swanie,

   The bug only happens in ie7, so your client must be using ie7.

   We don't officially support that browser, but we have added this fix to the next update:

   http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/InFocus_Changelog

   If you would like to add the fix now you can open the following file: styles/_ie/ie7.css

   and paste this in:

   #header { z-index: 10000 !important; position: relative !important; }
