IE Pulldown Problem inFocus

   I've added a product sub-nav to the #breadcrumb and included the #main_navigation and .jqueryslidemenu to it.

   See http://www.flowerssameday.co.uk/blue/contact.asp

   All works fine on Chrome, Firefox & Safari, however the pulldown menu is going behind the content beneath it on IE7 IE8 and IE9

   Can you point me in the correct direction of a solution.

   Hello Arkanara,

   It displays fine for me in IE8 and IE9 but I can see the issue in IE7.

   I noticed you are using a negative z-index value for your has_sidebar div. This is known to cause issues with IE7,

   Try setting it to 0 or 1 and increase your intro_blurb instead.

   Hi Elliott,

   Looks like my IE9 issue is machine specific, its developer version on Vista operating system and my IE8 comment was not correct (sorry). So issue is IE7 only.

   The negative z-index value for has_sidebar div was an attempt to solve the issue which didn't work so I have now removed it again. I'm not using the intro_blurb element, the div directly under the pulldown is the has_sidebar. Still no joy I'm affraid.

   Your menu is inside your breadcrumbs so try placing a zIndex of 20 - 30 on your breadcrumbs and then set a zIndex of 1-5 on your has_sidebar div.

   Hi Elliott,

   Still not working. Is it possible that there could be a positioning issue that need to be resolved hand-in-hand with the z-indexing?

   Managed to resolve the issue.

   I used your z-indexing suggestion and also added position: relative to both the divs and hey presto it works.
